Xuan Loc: Modern, humane and distinctive urban area

Xuan Loc commune has a natural area of 140.5 sq.km and a population of more than 101,485.

With the advantage of a large area, a sizable population, and its location in the former administrative center of Xuan Loc district, the locality has a relatively well-synchronized socio-economic infrastructure. Many important transport links pass through the area, including the Phan Thiet–Dau Giay Expressway, National Highway 1, the North–South railway, and key provincial roads such as DT.763, DT.765, DT.766, and DT.772. These are favorable conditions for trade, services, tourism development, and investment attraction.

Xuan Loc is home to several standout attractions, including Chua Chan Mountain, a nationally recognized scenic site; Nui Le Lake; Gia Mang Lake; and many model gardens. Building on these advantages, the locality has attracted several key projects, including eco-tourism, resort and entertainment complexes at Chua Chan Mountain, the Nui Le Lake urban area, and large-scale tourism-service complexes covering a total area of about 1,452 hectares.

These projects are being developed along modern, integrated models that combine tourism, resort services, commerce, and urban development, promising to raise Xuan Loc’s standing in the region. At present, the locality fully meets the key criteria for an upgrade from a commune to a ward in terms of population size, land area, infrastructure, and socio-economic development structure.

Xuan Loc is a land rich in revolutionary tradition, having twice been awarded the titles of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces and Hero of Labor during the renewal period. These honors form an important foundation for the locality’s development in the new phase.
