Meaningful gifts, along with bus, train, and plane tickets, have been distributed directly to workers facing financial difficulties. This timely support has brought great joy, enabling them to return to their hometowns and reunite with their families during Tet.
Touching stories behind bus and train tickets of compassion
For nearly 18 years, Pham Thi Ly, a worker at Saitex International Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Amata Industrial Zone, Long Binh Ward), has not had the opportunity to return home for Tet. This year, as one of the workers supported by the Trade Union with a train ticket to her hometown in Phu Tho for Tet, Ly could not hide her emotion. Over the past few days, Ly has been eagerly looking forward to her days off to return and reunite with her family and relatives after many years of working far from home.
Pham Thi Ly said that for many years, due to difficult economic conditions, every Tet, she stayed at her workplace and celebrated Tet away from home. This year, thanks to the timely care and support of the labor union, Ly has a train ticket to Phu Tho to celebrate Tet in the arms of her family, something she once thought would be difficult to achieve. “I thank the Trade Union for becoming a bridge and fulfilling the wishes of many workers far from home”, Ly shared.
Sharing the same joy, these days, Le Van Sy (a native of Thanh Hoa Province) is eagerly waiting for the day to return home and reunite with his family on the Trade Union Bus Trip - Spring 2026. Holding the bus ticket gifted by the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labour, his eyes sparkled with joy after many days of worrying about travel during Tet.
“In 2025, the achievements of Dong Nai Province have seen important contributions from the force of union members, workers, and laborers. Tet care activities demonstrate the concern of the trade union, Dong Nai provincial leaders, and authorities at all levels, creating more motivation and will for workers to overcome difficulties, stand united and join emulation in labor and production, contributing to the sustainable development and socio-economic stability of Dong Nai province.”

Le Van Sy explained that because of his limited income and numerous concerns—from rent to daily expenses—he had spent many years celebrating Tet away from home as ticket prices for buses and trains continued to rise. He said, "This year, thanks to the Trade Union's compassionate bus trips, my worries feel lighter. I feel warmer and happier. I just hope more workers living far from home will also get to enjoy a joyful family reunion during Tet, thanks to the caring efforts of the Trade Union."
According to the plan of the Provincial Labor Federation, on February 11 (the 24th day of the 12th lunar month), the Trade Union buses will simultaneously depart from Dong Nai, taking workers in difficult circumstances back to their hometowns in the Central and Northern provinces for Tet. Not just simple trips taking workers home, these are also bridges of love, connecting those far from home with their families after many years away. Each departing bus carries with it the joy, excitement, and hope of the workers, contributing to extending the dream of a warm and meaningful Tet reunion.
Spreading love
To care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, Dong Nai provincial authorities, trade unions, and the business community have implemented various activities to visit and present Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances and those living far from home. These meaningful gifts not only help share difficulties and provide spiritual encouragement but also help workers feel secure in their work and enjoy a warm and meaningful Tet.
Additionally, the "Tet Reunion - Spring in Gratitude to the Party" program was widely organized in industrial zones, attracting many workers. Tet Reunion is a journey continuing the spring with noble humanistic meaning, realized by Dong Nai trade unions at all levels through practical activities such as meetings for workers' families in difficult circumstances, presenting Tet gifts to union members, providing train and bus tickets, and cultural and artistic activities.
Nguyen Hoang Quoc Bao, a worker at FT Industries Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Long Binh Ward), was lucky to win an electric motorbike at the Tet Reunion program organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor. Bao happily shared that having been with the company for nearly 11 years and participating in lucky draws many times, luck had never smiled on him before. This year, receiving a valuable gift right at Tet has helped his family enjoy a more sufficient, prosperous, and complete holiday.
Competitions for wrapping chung cakes (square, glutinous rice cakes), spring decorations, and lucky draws with valuable prizes such as electric vehicles, motorbikes, televisions, refrigerators, shopping vouchers, or SJC gold helped workers feel the joy of Tet reunion and sharing more clearly. These activities are not merely about caring for the workers on Tet holiday but also represent the spirit of solidarity and sharing, ensuring that workers and employees can celebrate a full, warm, and complete Tet.
Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Quoc Dung stated that in the series of Tet care activities for workers, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented 80,000 gifts to union members and workers and provided 3,000 bus tickets to union members to return to their hometowns for Tet reunions with their families. The total value of these activities is 100 billion VND, of which the Provincial People's Committee supported 15 billion VND. Additionally, the Vietnam General Federation of Labor supported nearly 600 train and plane tickets and presented 15,000 vouchers for union members and workers to shop online at the Trade Union Tet Market.
Through a series of practical and meaningful activities jointly organized by authorities at all levels, trade unions, and businesses, tens of thousands of workers in Dong Nai have received material and spiritual care as Tet approaches. This creates motivation for the workers to alleviate difficulties, enjoy a complete and warm spring, and gain more confidence to step firmly into the new year 2026.
