On the evening of November 20, the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Kocham) hosted the 22nd Kocham Charity Night 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City. The event welcomed representatives from the Korean Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, leaders from various provinces and cities, and hundreds of Korean businesses operating in Vietnam.

The charity night raised more than 31 billion VND. All funds will be distributed by Kocham through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Tay Ninh provinces to support disadvantaged individuals; provide hospital fees for children with severe illnesses from low-income families; award scholarships to students majoring in Korean studies; support natural disaster and flood recovery efforts; offer Tet gifts, and carry out numerous humanitarian activities.
During the event, Kocham donated 800 million VND to Dong Nai Province. Of this amount, 500 million VND was given to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai, 100 million VND to the Vietnam–Korea Friendship Association of Dong Nai, 100 million VND to Lac Hong University, 50 million VND to the provincial Red Cross Society, and 50 million VND to the Dong Nai Social Protection Center.

Kocham currently has nearly 1,000 member enterprises. For more than two decades, alongside investment and business activities, Korean companies have placed strong emphasis on social work in Vietnam. As a result, the Kocham Charity Fund was established and has continued to grow.
