On September 25, the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Phuoc Long ward for the 2025-2030 term took place. Attending the Congress were Members of the provincial Party Committee, including Nguyen Minh Kien, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF Committee and Secretary of the provincial Youth Union; Nguyen Thi Huong Giang, Secretary of Phuoc Long ward Party Committee; along with the Standing members of the Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of Phuoc Long ward, and 160 official delegates.
Phuoc Long ward was established based on the merger of administrative units: Phuoc Tin commune and Long Thuy, Thac Mo, and Son Giang wards, comprising a total of 19 residential areas.

During the 2024-2029 term, the VFF system has stepped up communication and mobilization to rally people from all social strata, strengthened social consensus, and promoted the strength of the great national solidarity bloc. A total of 1,960 communication events have been organized, attracting 83,015 participants. The VFF has also coordinated and supervised 15 dialogues between the heads of Party Committees and all-level authorities with citizens, involving 1,350 participants.
The ward’s VFF has effectively promoted its role in communication, mobilization, and solidarity-building tasks, engaging people in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns. Many good models and exemplary individuals have emerged from the movement “All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas.” Twelve new-style rural models have been established. The proportion of cultural families has exceeded 95% annually; many residential areas have maintained the “5 Nos, 3 Cleans” movement and the model on civilized, green, and clean streets, further promoting the people’s right to mastery.

With the motto “Solidarity - Democracy – Consensus - Innovation - Development,” in the new term, the VFF and socio-political organizations of Phuoc Long ward set out three breakthrough areas and ten key targets.
Speaking at the Congress, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF Committee, and Secretary of the provincial Youth Union Nguyen Minh Kien acknowledged and praised the achievements of Phuoc Long ward VFF Committee in the past term. He also urged the ward’s VFF to continue renewing its content and operational methods, and strengthen supervision and social feedback, consolidate public trust, contributing to building a cleaner and stronger Party and government.

The Congress elected 52 members to the Phuoc Long ward VFF Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Le Dinh Thien was re-elected Chairman of the ward’s VFF Committee. The Congress also elected two delegates to attend the first VFF Congress of Dong Nai province for the 2025-2030 term.
