The capital city of Hanoi is filled with excitement as the nation celebrates the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Tens of thousands of people continue to flock to the city center, carrying with them a sense of pride and anticipation.

From the evening of August 31, many residents have already packed up and secured their seats to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the National Day. As of the morning of September 1, the streets became even more crowded and lively, with joy and pride clearly visible on people’s faces.

To ensure citizens can fully enjoy the National Day celebrations, security forces have tightened safety measures while guiding people to suitable viewing areas. Hanoi Police, in coordination with other units, have also set up free distribution points for drinking water, milk, and rations. Priority seating areas have been arranged for veterans, the elderly, and children to watch the military parade and march.
