At the ceremony, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Ho Van Ha presented flowers on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee to the school’s staff and students on the occasion of the new school year.
Principal of Xuan Hung Primary School Nguyen Ngoc Anh said: During the previous school year, the school achieved remarkable results last year. The completion rate reached 98.2%, with 100% of final-grade students finishing the primary program. Notably, 26.5% of students were rated excellent and 17.8% recognized as outstanding. The school has been rated as an excellent unit for five consecutive years and twice received certificates of merit from the Provincial People’s Committee.

For the 2025-2026 school year, Xuan Hung Primary School has 1,070 students across 28 classes, including 230 first graders. In the 2025–2026 academic year, the school will continue to pursue its goals, tasks, and solutions for fundamental and comprehensive reforms in education and training, tailored to the school’s circumstances and the local educational development. Furthermore, it will maintain the national standard rate for primary education universalization at the appropriate age within the locality; ensure annual quality accreditation; and sustain its status as a national standard school.

At the opening ceremony, alongside the brief program, delegates, staff, teachers, and students of the school attended the ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the Ministry of National Education (August 28, 1945 – August 28, 2025), now the Ministry of Education and Training, which was held in conjunction with the opening of the new 2025–2026 academic year.

Tran Bien High School currently has 112 staff, teachers, and employees. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school achieved positive results, with 89 provincial awards for 12th graders (including 14 first prizes, 31 second prizes, 26 third prizes, and 18 consolation prizes). The graduation rate was 100%. The school was rated as an excellent unit by the DoET.

For the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Bien High School has 1,970 students. The school will continue innovating teaching methods under the 2018 General Education Program, piloting voluntary English programs and bilingual French classes. At the same time, the school will enhance teaching quality, continue to develop and implement educational quality accreditation, and promote digital transformation in management, archiving, and teaching in order to better meet the requirements of the new context.

Established in 2001, Vu A Dinh Primary School has a large proportion of ethnic minority students.
In 2024-2025, the school had 171 students, 85% of whom were ethnic minorities. For 2025-2026, with two new branches, the school welcomes 30 new first graders, bringing the total to 159 students, including 120 from ethnic minority groups.

For the 2025-2026 academic year, Xuan Duong Secondary School has more than 380 students. To further improve training quality, the school will continue to focus on enhancing teaching and learning by adopting a student-centered approach, applying information technology in professional activities, and effectively organizing cultural and extracurricular programs. The aim is to promote comprehensive education in both knowledge and life skills for students. Moreover, the school will actively carry out emulation movements to strengthen the sense of responsibility among administrators, teachers, and staff, as well as foster students’ positive learning spirit.
On this occasion, Xuan Duong Secondary School was honored to receive the title of national standard school. Nhon Trach commune currently has 21 public schools, including 2 high schools, 5 secondary schools, 8 primary schools, and 6 kindergartens, with about 24,900 students enrolling for 2025-2026.
To encourage students, the Provincial Study Promotion Association awarded 50 scholarships worth VND1 million each, while the Nhon Trach Commune People’s Committee granted 260 scholarships worth VND 500,000 each to disadvantage students. Local schools also mobilized donations of gifts, scholarships, and notebooks to support disadvantaged students and help motivate them to confidently enter the 2025–2026 academic year.

*On the morning of September 5, Mien Dong College held the opening ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year.
In 2024-2025 academic year, Mien Dong College achieved 103.65% of its enrollment target, raising long-term training enrollment to more than 1,000 students. Training quality remained stable, with innovations in teaching methods, scientific research, scholarships, and financial support totaling hundreds of millions of dong. The college also invested in upgrading facilities, lecture halls, dormitories, and practice areas using revenues from production and business.

In addition to academic achievements, student associations also made notable marks, with first and second prizes at the Provincial English Olympiad, top prizes in technology and traffic safety contests, and recognition of 5 students with the “Five-good student” title and 19 with the “Three-practice” title.

In the new academic year, Dong Nai Medical College enrolled over 800 new students, raising the total number of students to more than 2,000.
The theme for 2025-2026 schoolyear is: “Continuing to standardize training programs, optimizing teaching methods, constantly innovating and improving quality, strengthening accreditation, and promoting digital transformation.” Dong Nai Medical College strives to become a prestigious vocational education institution in Vietnam and the region in training, scientific research, and providing highly qualified medical personnel with strong expertise and professional ethics.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of DoH Do Thi Nguyen highlighted the college’s role in supplying skilled and ethical medical personnel for the health sector in Dong Nai in particular and in other localities in general. Each year, nearly 500 students graduate, meeting the healthcare needs of local people and neighboring provinces.
According to the province’s healthcare facility system development plan, by 2030 Dong Nai aims to reach 32 hospital beds, 13-15 doctors, and 25 nurses per 10,000 people. This means the health sector will require a large number of additional personnel, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, rehabilitation technicians, and laboratory technicians.
Among these, the demand for nurses is particularly high, with about 5,000 needed. The Director Do Thi Nguyen called for stronger cooperation between the DoH and Dong Nai Medical College to continuously improve the quality of training and the competency of healthcare human resources. This will ensure that the increasing healthcare needs of the people are met, as well as support the development scale of the provincial primary healthcare system.
Hanh Dung
*On the morning of September 5, Binh Phuoc Ethnic Minority Boarding High School in Binh Phuoc ward held its opening ceremony for the new academic year. Attending the event were Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the Binh Phuoc Ward People’s Council Giang Thi Phuong Hanh; representatives of provincial departments and agencies; as well as teachers and students of the school.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, Binh Phuoc Ethnic Minority Boarding High School in Binh Phuoc has 389 students representing 12 ethnic groups. This year, the Provincial People’s Committee assigned the school to enroll 140 new students in grade 10. Among them, 91 (65%) are from disadvantaged ethnic groups with low educational resources, 35 (25%) are from other ethnic minorities, and 14 (10%) are ethnic Kinh from special hardship areas. This reflects not only the cultural diversity of the school but also its vital role in providing equitable learning opportunities for ethnic minority students.
