| Overview of the forum. |
Held annually since 2013, the forum aims to strengthen ties between businesses in the Mekong sub-region and Korea, creating opportunities, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, to access new markets, seek partners, attract investment, and facilitate technology transfer. This year’s forum was held under the theme: “Digital transformation and innovation: The key to advancing Mekong-Korea business cooperation and development.”
The forum brought together representatives from localities, large corporations, small and medium enterprises, startups, innovation-driven companies, digital technology firms, business associations, and innovation networks from both the Mekong sub-region and Korea, along with representatives of financial institutions and investment funds from Korea and the Mekong sub-region countries.

The 13th Mekong-Korea Business Forum also contributed to the practical implementation of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private sector economic development and Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. Moreover, it provided opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises and localities to connect with Korean and Mekong partners, thereby integrating more deeply into supply chains. The event also marked Vietnam’s practical contribution to Mekong subregional cooperation in its role as co-chair of the Mekong-Korea Cooperation (MKC) in 2025.
