30-year Party membership badge awarded to former Dong Nai Party Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong

Under the authorization of the Provincial Standing Party Committee to organize the Party badges awarding ceremony on the occasion of September 2, on the morning of September 3, Trang Dai Ward Standing Party Committee held a ceremony to present the 30-year Party membership badge to Nguyen Phu Cuong, former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the National Assembly’s Finance and Budget Committee, who is currently participating in Party activities at the Neighborhood 1 cell under the Trang Dai Ward Party Organization, Dong Nai Province.

Attending the ceremony were Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee’s Party commissions; and leaders of Trang Dai Ward.

Comrade Nguyen Phu Cuong was admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam on July 5, 1995. Before being elected as a member of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly’s Finance and Budget Committee, he had held several positions in Dong Nai Province, including Director of the Department of Finance, Chairman of Bien Hoa City People’s Committee, Secretary of Bien Hoa City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, and Secretary of the Dong Nai Party Committee.

On behalf of the Dong Nai Provincial Standing Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh expressed sincere gratitude for the contributions of former Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong to the province’s overall development over the years.
