Striving for a civilized and modern Binh Phuoc ward by 2030

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development," the first Congress of the Party Committee of Binh Phuoc ward for the 2025-2030 term took place officially on the afternoon of August 8. Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, attended and directed the congress.

The congress was attended by former leaders of Binh Phuoc province through various periods; leaders of the Party Building Committees; provincial departments and agencies; and 210 delegates representing Party members throughout the ward’s Party Committee.

Binh Phuoc ward was established through the merger of the wards namely Tan Phu, Tan Binh, Tan Dong, Tan Thien, Tan Xuan, and the former Tien Hung commune, with a total population of 111,440 people. The Party Committee of the ward includes 83 affiliated cells and Party committees with more than 3,400 Party members.

During the past term, the Party Committee, political system, business community, armed forces, and people in the ward united and managed to overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully completing key objectives and tasks, achieving many important accomplishments. The economy continued to develop, maintaining a relatively good growth rate and creating prominent marks in various fields; while economic structure was shifted in the right direction. Trade and services remained the priority development sector and continued to affirm their role as the core economic industry.

Urban planning, management, and development made many breakthroughs in awareness, thinking, vision, and achieved impressive results.

The congress discussed and approved 19 key targets for the 2025-2030 term. Among them, Binh Phuoc ward aims to achieve: an average annual growth rate of total state budget revenue in the area of 10-12%; average annual growth rate of gross regional product of 10% or higher; 100% of the population accessing clean and hygienic water; and average per capita income by 2030 increasing at least 10% per year compared to 2025.

In his directive speech at the congress, Vo Tan Duc recognized and praised the achievements of Binh Phuoc ward during the 2020-2025 term. He emphasized that, with the advantage of a large area, dense population, and relatively synchronous socio-economic infrastructure, Binh Phuoc ward has new development space as the central urban area of the northwest region of the province.

Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, urged the locality to continue leveraging its advantages, promote investment attraction in trade, services, industry, and handicrafts, accelerate urbanization, and improve people’s living standards.

In the coming time, Binh Phuoc ward needs to develop its economy associated with expanding modern, smart, and sustainable urban space. It must review and adjust general planning and sub-zone planning to serve urban development; effectively integrate transport infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and social infrastructure. Priority should be given to attracting smart urban projects, high-quality services, social housing, and high-tech industries.

Additionally, the ward should continue accelerating administrative reform linked to building a digital government, improving service quality for residents; prioritize investment in digital infrastructure, exploit the locality’s potentials and advantages effectively; seize opportunities and overcome difficulties to successfully implement the set resolution targets.
