On the afternoon of August 14, the Party Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Agencies convened the preparatory session of its first Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure to carry out several tasks in preparation for the official session scheduled for August 15.

Attending the congress were Comrade Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee; Ha Anh Dung, Member the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies; Tran Trung Nhan, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Nai Party Committee’s Inspection Commission; Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies; along with 246 official delegates representing more than 2,000 Party members across the organization.

Delivering his directive remarks at the preparatory session, Comrade Thai Bao urged delegates to promote democracy, uphold their sense of responsibility, and pool their wisdom in discussing and voting on key matters in line with the set program. The Party Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies expressed confidence that, with high responsibility, intellectual contribution, and a serious working attitude from each delegate, the preparatory session would meet its set goals and contribute to the overall success of the congress.
The congress was divided into five groups to discuss and provide feedback on the draft documents of the congress, including the documents to be presented to the 14th National Party Congress; the documents for the 2025–2030 Party Congress of Dong Nai province; and the documents for the first Party Congress of the Provincial Party Agencies for the 2025–2030 tenure.

The discussion topics focused on: viewpoints and objectives for building and developing the country in the new period; the action program of the Party Central Committee to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; the structure and content of 13 development orientations for the country for the 2026–2030 period; the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the country’s achievements after 40 years of renewal; the Party’s theoretical development over four decades of reform; achievements, limitations, and lessons learned in the practice of building socialism in Vietnam; the results of implementing the Resolution of the 11th Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2020–2025 tenure and the viewpoints, objectives, and tasks for the 2025–2030 tenure; as well as the achievements made during the 2020–2025 period, especially since the establishment of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies.
The official session of the congress will take place tomorrow morning, August 15.
