Preparatory session of the Party Congress of Army Corps 16 for 2025-2030 tenure

(ĐN) – On the afternoon of August 17, the Party Committee of Army Corps 16 solemnly organized the preparatory session of its 6th Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure.

The preparatory session was attended by delegates from the Central Military Commission’s Inspection Committee, the Departments of Propaganda and Training, Organization, and Mass Mobilization under the General Department of Politics, Ministry of National Defense; Members of the Standing Party Committee, the Army Corps Command, along with 138 official delegates representing the will, trust, and solidarity of the entire Army Corps Party Committee.

During the preparatory session, delegates elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Delegate Credentials Verification Committee; adopted the regulations, working program, and rules of the congress; thoroughly grasped the Party’s regulations on elections; and disseminated methods for discussions, contributing feedback to the documents submitted to the congress.

With renewed momentum, fresh confidence, and high political determination, the Party Congress of Army Corps 16 for the 2025-2030 tenure is set to become a significant milestone, opening a new phase of development.

All officers, Party members, soldiers, and employees of the Army Corps are determined to unite, uphold political steadfastness, and promote the tradition of solidarity in overcoming hardships. They will stay close to the people, combine economic and defense missions, and strive for strong and sustainable development. By doing so, they aim to successfully fulfill the goals and tasks set by the Congress, further enriching the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People’s Army, for the peace of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.

The preparatory session successfully completed the congress’s scheduled contents and programs, serving as an important first step that paves the way for the Party Congress of Army Corps 16 for the 2025-2030 tenure to take place solemnly and in line with Party regulations. This affirms the determination to build a pure and strong Party Committee and a comprehensively strong unit.
