On the morning of August 13, the first congress of the Phuoc Long Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure convened its official session. Tran Trung Nhan, Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission, attended and delivered the directive speech.

The event was also attended by leaders of the Party-building commissions, provincial departments, agencies, and sectors, together with 200 delegates representing 1,098 Party members of the ward.

Phuoc Long Ward was established through the merger of Thac Mo, Long Thuy, and Son Giang wards with Phuoc Tin commune of the former Phuoc Long town. Covering 71 square kilometers with a population of more than 33,100, the ward boasts a relatively well-developed socio-economic infrastructure.

At present, 100% of eligible administrative procedures are provided fully online, with 95-97% of documents digitally signed. The ward has applied online meeting models and a quality management system. The “All people unite to build cultural life” movement has been deployed effectively, with more than 92% of households recognized as cultural families annually. Education quality has steadily improved, with nearly 100% of students completing primary and secondary education and over 98% advancing to the next grades each year.

In the 2025-2030 period, Phuoc Long Ward’s development goal is to build a contingent of officials and civil servants with integrity and competence to meet the demands of the new era, while promoting the strength of great national unity. The ward aims to ensure social security, continuously improve the material and spiritual life of its residents, and, by 2030, gradually become a civilized and modern urban area that balances economic, cultural, social, and environmental development, an attractive destination for investors and tourists.

The congress defined development directions, objectives, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 tenure, setting out 14 key indicators. In particular, it emphasized the effective implementation of three focal tasks and three breakthrough areas to contribute to the province’s goal of achieving double-digit growth.

In his directive speech, Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission Tran Trung Nhan praised the ward’s achievements across all sectors in recent years. He urged the Ward Party Executive Committee to focus on building a  united and cohesive bloc, upholding revolutionary traditions, fostering aspirations for growth, and harnessing the dynamism and creativity of officials, Party members, and residents to build a more developed locality.

He stressed the need to concentrate on leading socio-economic development, improving the quality of administrative reform, accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing the efficiency of the state administrative apparatus, while striving to effectively operate the two-tier local government model.

Comrade Tran Trung Nhan underlined that immediately after the congress, the Ward Party Executive Committee should quickly develop, finalize, and issue plans to implement the resolution’s objectives and targets, with a detailed list of specific projects to be carried out. These plans must clearly define tasks, responsible persons, accountability, deadlines, roadmaps, and deliverables.
