In his directive speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies Thai Bao noted that despite many challenges in the past term, the Party Committees of both former Tan An and Vinh Tan communes, now united as the Party Committee of Tan An commune, had upheld their revolutionary tradition, demonstrated unity, and overcome difficulties to achieve significant and comprehensive results.
In his strategic guidance for the new term, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Bao emphasized the need for the communal Party Committee to strengthen solidarity and unity within the Party. He urged the communal Party Committee to thoroughly grasp and consistently implement the directive of Party General Secretary To Lam on “Solidarity – the truth of all times,” stressing that maintaining internal unity is a vital principle and top priority in Party building.
He also requested that the communal Party Committee continue to lead, direct, and operate efficiently local government apparatus, Party organizations, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations under the two-tier local government model, ensuring smooth, synchronized, stable, and effective operations. Furthermore, Tan An needs to foster a strong spirit of innovation and creativity, build a democratic, upright, professional, and efficient working environment, and adopt digital transformation in workplace to better serve citizens and businesses.
Regarding socio-economic development, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Bao stressed that the Party Committee must accurately assess both advantages and challenges in the new context. With a favorable geographic location and great potential for high-tech and organic agriculture, combined with commercial, service, handicraft, and tourism development, Tan An also holds promising prospects for attracting investment into industrial zones and clusters, especially with the future construction of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4 and the DT768B inter-regional connection road. Thus, the commune should restructure its spatial layout to leverage its advantages, focusing on reviewing and developing high-quality socio-economic and infrastructure plans aligned with the province’s master plan.
During development, Bao reminded the communal Party Committee to pay close attention to social welfare, sustainable poverty reduction, public healthcare, cultural and educational development, as well as ensuring public security, social order, and fulfilling local military and defense tasks.
On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Bao presented a banner from the Provincial Party Committee’s Executive Committee to the 1st Congress of the Tan An commune Party Committee, 2025-2030 term, with the inscription: “Solidarity – democracy – discipline – innovation – development; building the Party Committee of Tan An commune toward green and sustainable growth.”
