On August 12, the Nghia Trung Commune Party Committee held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending and directing the congress was Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee.
Also present were leaders from provincial Party Committee’ Party agencies, departments and sectors, along with 159 official delegates representing all 733 Party members in the commune’s Party Committee.

During the 2020-2025 term, with solidarity, unity, and flexible leadership from the Party Committee and local authorities, and with the consensus and support of the people, Nghia Trung’s socio-economic development has progressed steadily. State budget revenue has met and exceeded targets, and the economic structure has been shifted in a positive direction.
The effective implementation of national target programs has contributed significantly to improving local living standards. At present, the commune has only 18 poor households, a reduction of 144 compared to the start of the term. Additionally, 85 houses of compassion, gratitude houses, and great unity houses have been built or repaired, with a total value of more than VND 3.5 billion.

With the theme “Solidarity – Democracy – Innovation – Development,” the first Congress of the Nghia Trung Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term set out 16 main targets, nine key tasks, and three breakthrough areas.
In addition to leveraging its advantages along the bauxite economic corridor and the Gia Nghia – Chon Thanh expressway, Nghia Trung Commune will focus on developing an agricultural produce hub based on the Nghia Trung durian brand, aiming for export through supply chains.

Agreeing with the targets and breakthrough areas proposed for the 2025-2030 term, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Ha Anh Dung urged Nghia Trung Commune to continue promoting its heroic tradition in implementing its goals and tasks, and to strengthen Party building in parallel with the prompt execution of the congress resolution.
Given the intertwined advantages and challenges, the commune needs to mobilize and unlock resources to prioritize investment, complete technical infrastructure, and fully tap its strengths in farming areas, high-tech agriculture, and deep processing to serve socio-economic development. These efforts aim to improve the quality of life for local residents and bring Nghia Trung to complete the goals set in the new-style rural development program as scheduled.
