Dong Nai Provincial delegation of NA Deputies supervises public investment projects

On the morning of August 20, the supervisory delegation of the Dong Nai Provincial delegation of National Assembly (NA) Deputies led by Bui Xuan Thong, Member of Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial delegation of NA Deputies, conducted an oversight session on the implementation of laws and policies regarding the management and use of public assets in the province from 2018 to December 31, 2024, at several public investment projects across the province.

The supervisory delegation included Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the NA Deputy Affairs Committee, together with provincial NA deputies and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

The Provincial delegation of NA Deputies carried out supervision at the following projects: Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway project managed by the Dong Nai Provincial Project Management Board; a review of the management and use of facilities at Dong Nai Medical College; and a survey of the former Dong Nai Tax Department headquarters.

During the working sessions and field surveys with the units, the supervisory delegation recorded the actual difficulties and obstacles these units faced in financial management, public investment, and human resource management under real conditions.

Speaking at the working sessions with the units, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial delegation of NA Deputies Bui Xuan Thong stated that the supervision aims to review and evaluate the implementation of laws and public asset policies during project execution, identifying any difficulties or obstacles. Based on these findings, the Provincial delegation of NA Deputies will record and propose recommendations to remove barriers and create transparent mechanisms in project implementation.

Bui Xuan Thong requested that the units under supervision review all stages and procedures of public asset bidding, technical standards, and so on, to identify difficulties and obstacles and thereby find solutions to remove them.
