DNNRTV presents scholarships, bicycles to students in Phu Vinh and Phu Hoa communes

On August 26, Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNNRTV) held the program “Supporting students to school 2025” in Phu Vinh and Phu Hoa communes, Dong Nai Province.

At Phu Vinh Commune, DNNRTV presented 30 bicycles worth VND 2 million each, 15 scholarships each valued at VND 1 million, and 600 notebooks to disadvantaged students in the locality.

Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Thi Minh Nham said that alongside professional activities, DNNRTV always pays attention to social programs, and the program “Supporting students to school” is one of them. In 2025, immediately after being launched, the program received enthusiastic contributions from DNNRTV’s staff, reporters, editors, and employees, as well as support from sponsors and enterprises inside and outside the province.

At Phu Hoa Commune, DNNRTV awarded 30 bicycles, 10 scholarships, and 600 notebooks to students.

So far, DNNRTV has presented 82 bicycles, 110 scholarships, and 2,000 notebooks to disadvantaged students in several localities across the province. Although modest in value, these gifts represent the goodwill of journalists and benefactors for students in need. The program aims to give students encouragement to overcome difficulties, strive in study and training, and ease the financial burden on their families at the beginning of the new school year.

Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Thi Minh Nham conveyed her best wishes to officials and residents of both Phu Vinh and Phu Hoa communes. She also expressed the hope that the two communes will continue to coordinate and accompany the development of DNNRTV.

Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Phu Vinh Commune Dao Van Tuan and Chairwoman of Phu Hoa Commune Fatherland Front Committee Bui Thi Minh Ngoc expressed sincere thanks to DNNRTV’s staff and sponsors for their support to the two communes and their students. They also hoped for broader cooperation with the newspaper in the coming time, starting with communication on political, socio-economic, and community activities. This will enable both sides to leverage their strengths and support each other in fulfilling assigned tasks.
