Dai Phuoc commune develops modern riverside urban area from existing potential and advantages

The first Party Congress of Dai Phuoc Commune for the 2025-2030 term took place on the afternoon of August 12. Attending and directing the congress was Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee.

Also present were representatives from provincial agencies and 220 official delegates representing more than 1,000 Party members across the commune’s Party Committee.

Delivering his directive speech at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Vo Tan Duc emphasized that the first Party Congress of Dai Phuoc Commune for the 2025-2030 term is a special political event of great significance, marking the Party Committee’s maturity in organization, thinking, and action since the administrative unit merger.

Vo Tan Duc requested the Dai Phuoc Commune Party Committee to promptly stabilize its organizational structure and build a united and cohesive bloc within the entire Party Committee. This is a top priority and a decisive task. The commune’s newly elected Party Executive Committee must focus on leading and directing the thorough dissemination among cadres, Party members, and the public of the Party’s correct orientations, as well as the State’s policies and laws on administrative unit arrangement at all levels and the two-tier local government model. He called for promoting solidarity, unity of will and action, and fostering high social consensus.

The commune’s Party Committee needs to clearly define specific projects, plans, and priority tasks to successfully realize the congress resolution, with the spirit of “clear responsibility, clear tasks, clear accountability, clear outputs, concrete results, clear deadlines, and clear roadmaps.” At the same time, it should focus on improving people’s living standards by fully tapping into the available potential and advantages to develop a comprehensive and sustainable economy toward industry, trade, and services, forming a modern riverside economic urban area.

Comrade Vo Tan Duc highly agreed with the two breakthrough areas proposed by the commune’s Party Committee at the congress. These are developing a modern and synchronous urban transport infrastructure system, prioritizing expanded inter-regional connectivity and building riverside, green, clean, and smart urban areas to improve quality of life of local people and promote sustainable development; accelerating the application of science and technology and implementing digital transformation in leadership, management, and the processing of administrative procedures for organizations and individuals. The Party Committee should ensure these breakthrough areas become truly key factors, enabling the commune to move forward confidently, affirm its position, and demonstrate the effectiveness and advantages of the new governance model.

Comrade Vo Tan Duc called for comprehensive digital transformation; enhancing the operational efficiency of the Public Administrative Service Center; providing 100% of public services online; and applying information technology in management and administration. He also urged the digitization of records and data and the building of a digital government to serve people and businesses quickly, conveniently, and transparently.

The commune’s Party Committee should also strengthen Party building and develop a clean and strong political system, in association with promoting administrative reform within the Party, which is regarded as an essential “pivotal” task to ensure the Party’s comprehensive leadership over all activities of the commune in the new context.

On behalf of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Comrade Vo Tan Duc presented to the congress a flower basket from the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, along with a banner from the Provincial Party Executive Committee with the message: “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Creativity – Building Dai Phuoc commune for comprehensive development.”
