(ĐN)- Driven by the aspiration to find the best ideas, the best investors, and the best contractors to accelerate the effective exploitation of existing potential and resources, renew growth drivers, and stimulate economic development, ultimately shortening the path toward shaping a distinctive profile for Dong Nai province, the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee on August 1 will preside over a scientific symposium titled: “Orienting socio-economic development with the goal of double-digit growth and contributing to the draft documents of the 2025–2030 Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress.”
With a spirit of openness and a strong desire to harness collective intelligence, the top leadership of Dong Nai’s key agencies is determined to capture all practical, feasible, and scientifically sound recommendations. Dong Nai’s top decision-makers are resolved not to waste time or squander opportunities. By embracing innovative thinking and decisive, results-driven action, they are setting clear timelines and assigning accountability with the principle of “right role, right responsibility.” This guiding approach is driving the entire political system to move swiftly and efficiently during this pivotal period, ensuring tangible achievements that lay a strong foundation for the province’s breakthrough.
As a land blessed with “favorable timing, geography, and human capital”, Dong Nai has 83 industrial zones planned across a total area of 36,728 hectares. Of these, 59 zones covering 22,107 hectares have been officially established, with 44 zones encompassing 14,797 hectares already equipped with synchronized technical infrastructure. The province also boasts vast reserves of industrial land and a fully integrated, modern five-modal transportation system, features that economic and planning experts recognize as unique competitive advantages. In particular, two strategic development anchors, the Long Thanh International Airport and the Dong Nai River, will serve as powerful drivers for multi-dimensional growth, transforming Dong Nai into a dynamic economic hub and international gateway.
These strong fundamentals and competitive strengths are galvanizing public officials and civil servants across all levels to mobilize efforts and proactively devise concrete action plans. There is an urgent need to formulate realistic scenarios and find prompt solutions to pressing local challenges. Key to this process is the development and implementation of sound strategic policies and core measures to advance a new productive force, centered on high-quality human resources, inter-regional transport infrastructure, and economic structural transformation. This begins with designing and refining policy mechanisms tailored to the province’s new post-merger context, while positioning science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the principal engines of breakthrough growth. At the same time, Dong Nai is committed to radically reforming administrative procedures with a citizen- and business-centric approach.
A favorable condition for enhancing local governance capacity is that Dong Nai has now completed the consolidation and appointment of 100% of core personnel across all levels of the provincial apparatus, in accordance with current regulations. The provincial Party leader has called on all cadres, from provincial to grassroots level, to actively compete and perform well in their duties. In particular, the goal for 2025 is to reach a state budget revenue milestone of VND 100 trillion. This reflects the province’s strong determination and aspiration to rise to new heights, shaping a renewed identity for Dong Nai and reaffirming its role as a leading economic driver within the nation.
