Spring Flower Festival and Street of Lights open to visitors in Tam Hiep ward

On the evening of February 7, at Duong Tu Giang Park, the People's Committee of Tam Hiep ward (Dong Nai province) held the opening ceremony of the Spring Flower Festival and Street of Lights to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

Attending the program were: Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang; Provincial Party Committee member, Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Thi Hong Trang; Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and Tam Hiep ward leaders, along with a large number of people from all walks of life.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman in charge of the Tam Hiep Ward People's Committee, Luu Thi Hang, stated: In the 2026 Binh Ngo Tet, the locality is organizing a wide range of cultural, artistic, and sports activities to create a cheerful and wholesome atmosphere for residents to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet. In particular, the ward is focusing on implementing the Tet of Compassion program, which not only provides material support but also reflects the responsibility, care, and encouragement of the Party Committee, government, and community toward those still facing hardship. In doing so, it promotes the tradition of "the good leaves protect the torn leaves", upholds the spirit of mutual support, and contributes to ensuring that everyone and every household can celebrate a warm and joyful Tet.

During the program, units and schools in Tam Hiep ward presented symbols of Tet of Compassion and gifts to disadvantaged students in the area. The Tet of Compassion program in Tam Hiep ward has raised and presented 3,000 gifts totaling nearly 1.5 billion VND.
