Dong Nai provincial leaders visit and extend Tet greetings to artists and writers

On February 9, Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Truong Son; Member of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) and Standing Deputy Head of the PPC’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization Nguyen Thi Hong Trang; Member of the PPC and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan paid visits and extended Lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to artistic units across the province, including Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center, Dong Nai Art Theater and the Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association (DLAA).

According to People’s Artist Giang Manh Ha, Chairman of the DLAA, in 2025, under the close guidance of provincial leadership, the Dong Nai Cultural and Cinema Center, the Dong Nai Art Theater and the DLAA effectively fulfilled their assigned political tasks. In particular, the Dong Nai Art Theater undertook a heavy workload and participated in all major cultural and artistic events at both national and provincial levels. At the same time, literary and artistic units in the province were honored with the outstanding emulation flag awarded by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as well as certificates of merit recognizing outstanding labor collectives from the Provincial People’s Committee.

On behalf of the three units, People’s Artist Giang Manh Ha, Chairman of the DLAA, expressed sincere thanks to provincial leaders for their attention and support for artists and writers across the province. He affirmed that the units would continue striving to better fulfill their assigned political and cultural tasks, while also expressing the hope that provincial leadership would maintain their continued interest in cultural and artistic activities in Dong Nai.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Le Truong Son highly valued the role of the province’s community of artists and writers, particularly its active participation in many major and important events of both the province and the country. He emphasized that the cultural and artistic units play a crucial role in advising on plans, programs and projects to ensure the effective implementation of cultural tasks. On this occasion, he wished the three units a new year filled with renewed creative energy to successfully accomplish their assigned tasks and targets.
