The Vo Dac Dong Nai cycling team overcame two strong opponents to win the team championship at the 2026 National Cycling Tournament “Returning to Phuoc Long to Build Victory.”

On the morning of January 6th, coinciding with the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Phuoc Long (January 6th, 1975 - 2026), the cyclists competed in the final stage of the 2026 National Cycling Tournament “Returning to Phuoc Long to Build Victory”, covering a distance of 106km around Phuoc Long and Phuoc Binh wards.

In this stage, cyclist Nguyen Tan Hoai (Loc Troi Group) displayed impressive form, sprinting ahead of other riders to cross the finish line first with a time of 2 hours 37 minutes and 48 seconds, winning the final stage. Nguyen Tuan Vu (Vinama Ho Chi Minh City) and Dang Van Phap (620 Chau Thoi Vinh Long) finished second and third, respectively.

After stage 3, the awards ceremony took place at the Phuoc Long Victory Monument. Finishing in the top 10, cyclist Pham Le Xuan Loc (Military Region 7) successfully defended his overall yellow jersey and also won the polka-dot jersey - King of the Mountains. In addition to finishing third in the yellow jersey, cyclist Nguyen Tuan Vu won the overall green jersey.

Meanwhile, the home team Vo Dac Dong Nai delivered an excellent performance to surpass both Vinama Ho Chi Minh City and Duoc Domesco Dong Thap, securing the team championship cup. In addition to the team title, young local rider Tran Trong Phuc claimed the white jersey and finished second in the polka-dot jersey category. At the same time, Nguyen Hoang Sang took the yellow jersey runner-up spot and placed third in the polka-dot jersey competition.

The 2026 National Cycling Tournament “Returning to Phuoc Long to Build Victory” Deli Tire kicked off on January 5th and 6th, bringing together nearly 100 outstanding athletes from 8 top cycling teams from provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide to compete. These teams include: Binh Minh Plastic, Domesco Dong Thap, Loc Troi Group (An Giang), Vinama Ho Chi Minh City, Military Region 7, Phuoc Long Youth Dong Nai, and Vo Dac Dong Nai, competing in 3 stages.
