On the evening of December 31, along the new riverside road of the Dong Nai River, the People’s Committee of Tran Bien Ward (Dong Nai Province) organized a special art program and a fireworks display to welcome the 2026 New Year.

Attending the event were Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Tran Trung Nhan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Inspection Commission; Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department; Ho Van Nam, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the People’s Council of Tran Bien Ward; members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; representatives of provincial departments and agencies; along with local leaders and a large number of residents from across the province.

The special art program and fireworks display welcoming the New Year featured a series of outstanding performances presented by artists from the Dong Nai Arts Theatre and Ho Chi Minh City, including choral and dance numbers such as Chao Xuan Dong Nai, Hoa Co Mua Xuan, Dong Nai – Que Huong Khat Vong; dance performances like Lung Linh Sac Hoa Xuan and Cho Viet Nam Toa Sang.
Notably, the program also featured the participation of many young artists, rock bands, DJs, dance groups, and rappers, including Trang Phap, B Ray, HuyR, Do Thanh Duy, DJ UNNIE, the B-girl group, rappers Astom and Herry Ngoc Thach, Hana Cam Tien, and WAO CREW, creating a vibrant, youthful, and energetic atmosphere.

With a completely new format and event space, the special art program and fireworks display welcoming the 2026 New Year in Tran Bien Ward was not only a New Year music celebration but also a cultural rendezvous and a bridge connecting the community, spreading the spirit of unity and a passion for the arts. Through meticulously staged performances, the program conveyed messages of faith, hope, and aspirations for progress in the Year of the Horse 2026.
Traffic routes leading from Hoa An Bridge in Tran Bien Ward to the border with Tan Trieu Ward were also packed with people. Traffic police were deployed to set up checkpoints and restrict vehicle access at the area's entry points. Nearby parking spots were almost full.
