As part of activities celebrating the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Phuoc Long (January 6, 1975 – 2026) and in support of the 31st National Cross-Country Mountain-Climbing Tournament “Conquering Ba Ra Peak” in 2026, on the evening of January 3, the People’s Committee of Phuoc Long Ward organized a street food festival featuring 90 food stalls and displays of signature products from localities within and outside the province. Participating localities included Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Dak Lak, among others.

The food festival began at 7:00 p.m. on Hai Ba Trung Street (the commemorative garden area) in Quarter 4, Long Thuy Ward, featuring a wide range of signature dishes prepared by schools, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Youth Union), and mass organizations from Phuoc Long and Phuoc Binh wards, among others.

Alongside the food stalls, the festival also featured a wide range of cultural and musical activities for visitors and locals, including a painting and photo exhibition themed “Phuoc Long – 51 Years of Construction and Development”; a cultural exhibition space titled “Phuoc Long – Where Cultural Essence Converges”; as well as bamboo pole dance performances, folk dances, campfire activities, and acoustic music shows.

The street food festival is one of the traditional cultural activities held annually, helping to create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere during the anniversary of the Liberation of Phuoc Long, while also providing practical support for the National Cross-Country Mountain-Climbing Tournament “Conquering Ba Ra Peak”.
