Two Dong Nai football teams to compete in 2025–2026 National U-19 Football Championship qualifiers

According to the Organizing Committee of the 2025-2026 National U-19 Football Championship, Dong Nai has two teams participating in the qualifying round, which kicks off on December 14.

On the afternoon of December 4, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation, the draw for the qualifying round of the 2025-2026 National U-19 Football Championship took place. The draw ceremony was conducted online by the Organizing Committee, with representatives from the participating teams in attendance.

Accordingly, the qualifying round of the 2025-2026 National U19 Football Championship has the participation of 27 teams from professional and non-professional football clubs, training centers, and gifted schools, including two teams from Dong Nai.

According to the tournament regulations, teams are drawn into five groups and compete in a double round-robin format (home and away) in their designated host localities. Based on group standings, five first-place teams, five second-place teams, and the best-performing third-place team across the five groups will advance to the final round.

Qualifying matches will take place from December 14, 2025, to January 6, 2026, in the host provinces. The final round of the 2025-2026 National U19 Football Championship will be held from January 14 to 27, 2026.

The 27 teams in the qualifying round are divided into five groups. Two teams from Dong Nai, namely Dong Nai and Phuoc Binh Dong Nai, will compete in Group E alongside Dong Thap, Tay Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City Police. Group E is hosted by Ho Chi Minh City Police Sports Joint Stock Company, with matches played at Tan Hung Stadium and Long Tam Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.

Of the remaining four groups, Group A is hosted by Viettel Sports Company Limited - Hanoi and includes six teams: Hanoi Police, Hoai Duc, Ninh Binh, PVF, Dao Ha Football Center, and The Cong Viettel I. All matches in Group A will take place at Viettel Sports Company Limited - Hanoi.

Group B (hosted by Vietnam Football Talent Investment and Development Company Limited) at PVF Youth Football Training Center - Hung Yen, includes six teams: Hanoi, Luxury Ha Long, Phu Dong Youth, The Cong – Viettel II, Ninh Binh Province Sports Center II, PVF-CAND.

Group C (hosted by LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai Sports Joint Stock Company) at Ham Rong Sports Center - Gia Lai, includes five teams: Be Tong 26 Gia Lai, Hue, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Song Lam Nghe An and LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

Group D (hosted by Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation) at Thanh Long Sports Center - Ho Chi Minh City, has five teams: Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa Sports Training Center, Song Tra Quang Ngai, SHB Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
