Ready for first-ever Countdown event on Dong Nai riverside route

On the morning of December 24, Ho Van Nam, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People’s Council of Tran Bien Ward, chaired a working session with relevant functional units to reach consensus on the plan to organize the Countdown event welcoming the New Year 2026 in Tran Bien Ward.

At the meeting, Nguyen Duy Tan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward, said that units have conducted site surveys and developed organizational plans to support cultural and artistic activities celebrating the New Year 2026.

This occasion will be the largest-scale event ever held in the area. A series of activities will take place from December 28 through the early morning of January 1, featuring programs such as modern dance performances and the “You Can Rap – Fiery Arena” competition. Notably, the highlight of the evening of December 30 will be a flyboard performance accompanied by multi-layered flare effects on the Dong Nai River. On the night of December 31, an artistic program and a fireworks display will welcome the New Year 2026.

Speaking at the meeting, Ho Van Nam, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Tran Bien Ward, emphasized that the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and the provincial People’s Committee have approved in principle the organization of the 2026 New Year’s Countdown night in Tran Bien Ward; therefore, all preparations must be carried out thoroughly and meticulously.

Ho Van Nam requested that functional units adhere to the “six clarities” principle in task implementation (clear personnel, clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear authority, clear timelines, and clear outcomes). He assigned the Party-Building Committee and the Standing body of the Ward People’s Committee to appraise all contents in accordance with the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws and policies. During implementation, functional sectors are to carry out tasks while simultaneously conducting inspections, ensuring absolute safety and the successful organization of the first-ever Countdown event of Tran Bien Ward at one of Dong Nai Province’s key projects.
