Dong Nai athletes excelled, winning 10 gold medals and ranking second overall in two groups: women aged 13-15 and men aged 19-40 at the 2025 National Age Groups Kickboxing Championship.

On the evening of December 27, the 2025 National Age Groups Kickboxing Championship concluded at the Ho Chi Minh City National Sports Training Centre.

The 2025 National Age Groups Kickboxing Championship was organized by the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City National Sports Training Centre, attracting more than 260 athletes from 13 provinces and cities. Athletes competed in events divided by age groups: 13-15 (Low Kick: 10 men’s weight classes, 10 women’s weight classes); 16-18 (Low Kick: 10 men’s weight classes, 10 women’s weight classes); 19-40 (Low Kick: 12 men’s weight classes, 9 women’s weight classes; K1 Style: 7 men’s weight classes, 3 women’s weight classes).

At the end of the championship, the Dong Nai delegation won a total of 10 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals. Notably, Dong Nai ranked second overall in the women’s 13-15 age group with 2 golds and 1 silver, finishing behind Gia Lai, and also secured second place overall in the men’s 19-40 age group with 5 golds and 4 silvers, just behind Can Tho. In addition, Dong Nai placed fourth in the men’s 16-18 age group; fifth in both the men’s 13-15 and women’s 19-40 age groups; and sixth in the women’s 16-18 age group.
