Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television held the ceremony to announce sports tournaments in 2026

On the afternoon of November 11, Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNNRT) held a ceremony to announce the 2026 sports tournaments and sign sponsorship contracts. The program was broadcast live on channels DN1, DN2, DN3; livestreamed on the digital platforms of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television.

Attending the program were: Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province Vu Xuan Truong; Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Nai province Tran Ngoc Thang; Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha; Director of Viettel Dong Nai Nguyen Huy Tan and representatives of departments, branches and sectors in the province, leaders of Truong Tuoi Group, C.P. Vietnam and partners, businesses, sponsors of the Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio - Television Cup sports tournaments in 2026.

In 2026, sports tournaments jointly organized by DNNRT will include: the 3rd Dong Nai Marathon - Truong Tuoi Group Tournament; the 21st Children's Football Tournament (U11) and the 31st National Mountain Cross-Country Race "Conquering Ba Ra Peak".

For the 3rd Dong Nai Marathon - Truong Tuoi Group Tournament in 2026, it is not only a running competition but also a journey to spread the spirit of sportsmanship, connect the community, and arouse aspirations to reach further. The tournament is a large-scale playground, encouraging physical exercise, connecting the community and inspiring positive living, contributing to promoting the image of a beautiful Dong Nai. The tournament promises many highlights: expanded scale, diverse distances, and meaningful volunteer activities.

In its third edition, the Dong Nai Marathon - Truong Tuoi Group Tournament is scheduled to take place on November 28 and 29, 2026, in Binh Phuoc and Dong Xoai wards. It is expected that the tournament will welcome tens of thousands of athletes and visitors to participate in the following distances: 5km, 10km, 21km, 42km, and 2km Kids run. With the message "Running into a new era", in addition to holding fundraising activities to support victims of Agent Orange, the Organizing Committee also hopes to spread the movement for the entire population to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho to join the country in entering a new era - the era of national rise.

The 21st Children's Football Tournament carries a noble mission of training health, discipline and strong will for children, arousing the spirit of solidarity, fair-play, nurturing dreams for them to reach new heights, making Dong Nai and Vietnam football famous. Each commune and ward sends 1 football team to participate in the tournament. The players are primary school students (born in 2016 or earlier, and 3 more born in 2015). The tournament is expected to start in June 2026 at 10 clusters across the province. The final round will be held at the Dong Nai Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.

For the 31st National Mountain Cross-Country Race "Conquering Ba Ra Peak", athletes not only challenge themselves with runs to conquer the mountain peak with an altitude of 723m above sea level, but the Organizing Committee also specially additionally opens the content for the movement in the form of trails, and opens the bib sales gate. The race will officially take place on January 4, 2026, in Phuoc Long ward, Dong Nai province.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony of the sports tournaments, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of DNNRT Nguyen Thi Minh Nham emphasized: The 3 sports tournaments taking place in 2026 will last from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. The success of the tournaments will not be possible without the support of Dong Nai provincial leadership, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism along with departments, branches, units, localities; especially sponsors, partners, and businesses that have accompanied in many past seasons. And above all, it is thanks to the running community, athletes, children, coaches, fans, audiences, readers – the passionate hearts and the very soul of the tournaments.
