Closing ceremony of the 2025 Dong Nai Friendship Culture and Sports Week

On the afternoon of November 3, at the Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center (Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai Province), the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations held the closing ceremony of the 2025 Dong Nai Friendship Culture and Sports Week.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Tri, Chairman of the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations, said that the Friendship Culture and Sports Week featured a wide range of meaningful activities, including a photo exhibition on different countries, the 6th Dong Nai Friendship Melody Festival, and cultural and sports exchanges between foreign consulates in Ho Chi Minh City and the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations, as well as other professional and social welfare activities. These activities have contributed to strengthening solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between Dong Nai Province and local as well as international partners, while also promoting the image of a dynamic, friendly, and globally integrated Dong Nai.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Dong Nai Friendship Culture and Sports Week, Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri expressed sincere thanks to foreign diplomatic missions in Ho Chi Minh City, business leaders, friendship organizations across provinces and cities, and Dong Nai provincial leaders for their support and contributions to the success of the event.

As the 2025 Dong Nai Friendship Culture and Sports Week concluded, the Chairman expressed hope that the event’s positive values would continue to spread, further deepening the friendly and cooperative relations between Dong Nai Province and international friends in the years ahead.

The closing ceremony featured cultural and artistic exchange programs with the Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as members of the Can Tho City Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vinh Long Province Union of Friendship Organizations. In addition, outstanding performances from the 6th Dong Nai Friendship Melody Festival (2025) were also showcased.

On this occasion, the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations announced and presented awards for the 6th Dong Nai Friendship Melody Festival (2025). Two associations, the Dong Nai Vietnam–Russia Friendship Association and the Dong Nai Vietnam–ASEAN Friendship Association, won A prizes. The organizing committee also awarded four B prizes, four C prizes, and 17 prizes by category (singing, dancing/modern dance, instrumental performance, and themed entries). Additionally, prizes for first, second, third, and consolation places were presented to teams participating in the 2025 Friendship Sports Games.
