Delegation from Dong Nai province visits and congratulates centenarians

On October 3, a working delegation from Dong Nai Province, led by Pham Thi Mai Huong, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, visited, presented gifts, and extended birthday wishes to exemplary centenarians in Dak Nhau and Phuoc Son communes on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons.

During the visits, the delegation presented gifts, congratulatory cards, 5 meters of silk fabric, and 1 million VND in cash from the State President, along with gifts and a golden congratulatory plaque from the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province. The plaque bore the inscription: “Blessings as vast as the Eastern Sea, Longevity as great as the Southern Mountains.” The delegation visited Che Thi Chau in Hamlet 1 and Luong Van Trung in Hamlet Dak Xuyen, both in Dak Nhau Commune, and also paid a visit to Loc Thi Say in Hamlet 11, Phuoc Son Commune.

During the visits, the delegation warmly inquired about the centenarians’ health and spiritual well-being, acknowledged their contributions to the construction and development of their homeland, and extended birthday wishes, hoping they continue to live happily and healthily, serving as shining examples for younger generations to follow.
