On the afternoon of September 24, at the Dong Nai Province Sports Training and Competition Center, the Unification Conference of the Taekwondo Federation of Dong Nai Province and Binh Phuoc Province for the 2024-2029 term took place.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province, the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, and 20 delegates who are members of the Executive Committee of the former Binh Phuoc Taekwondo Federation and the Dong Nai Taekwondo Federation.

At the conference, delegates voted to approve the proposal to merge the Dong Nai Taekwondo Federation and the former Binh Phuoc Taekwondo Federation for the 2024–2029 term.

Following the merger, the Dong Nai Taekwondo Federation for the 2024–2029 term will retain the combined 19-member Executive Committee from the two former federations. The Standing Committee consists of 7 members, including 1 Chairman and 6 Vice Chairmen, along with a 5-member Inspection Committee. The federation has a total of 9,744 members: 6,856 from Dong Nai and 2,888 from former Binh Phuoc, across 131 clubs (118 in Dong Nai and 13 in former Binh Phuoc). The total number of black belts is 1,686.
