Linh Dan wins 2 gold medals at 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Outstanding Young, Junior, and Children's Players

Young athlete Le Hoang Linh Dan contributed both gold medals to the overall achievement of the Dong Nai table tennis youth team at the 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Outstanding Young, Junior, and Children Players.

At noon on August 31, the 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Outstanding Young, Junior, and Children Players, organized by the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation, concluded at the Dong Nai Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center's gymnasium.

At the end of the tournament, the Dong Nai table tennis youth team won a total of 10 medals, including 2 gold medals (GMs), 2 silver medals (SM), and 6 bronze medals (BM). Young athlete Le Hoang Linh Dan made an outstanding contribution by securing both GMs in the 14-15 age group for Dong Nai table tennis. In addition to the individual GM, Le Hoang Linh Dan, together with Hoang Tra My (Public Security - T&T), also won the women's doubles 14-15 age group GM. The 2 SMs for Dong Nai were in the following events: women's singles 9 age group (Le Khanh Ngoc) and women's doubles 20-21 age group (Ngo Thi Ngan - Dong Bao Tran of Vinh Long). The remaining 6 BMs were in the following events: women's singles, mixed doubles 14-15 age group, mixed doubles 18-19 age group, women's doubles, men's doubles 20-21 age group, and women's doubles 22-23 age group.

The 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Outstanding Young, Junior, and Children Players took place from August 23 to 31 at the Dong Nai Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center's gymnasium, attracting over 300 athletes from 20 provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide. Athletes competed for 34 sets of medals in events including: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles, across the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-18, 19-21, 22-23.
