Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd. and Coach Park Hang-seo Hold Friendly Exchange in Dong Nai

On August 18, the Dong Nai Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province and Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Nhon Trach 5 Industrial Park), held a friendship exchange meeting. The event marked the handover of the “Hyosung Hope House” and celebrated the 80th anniversaries of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2) and South Korea’s National Liberation Day (August 15).

Attending the meeting were comrades Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council; Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organization Commission of the Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Agencies; Le Truong Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee; and Truong Thi Huong Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Dong Nai Department of Finance, along with leaders of the province’s departments and agencies.

Also attending the event were Bae In Han, General Director of Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd., and Coach Park Hang-seo, Vice President of the Korea Football Association (KFA) and former Head Coach of the Vietnam National Football Team.

At the meeting, Bae In Han, General Director of Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd., stated that the company is one of the FDI enterprises consistently active in fulfilling its social responsibility to the community. On this occasion, the company respectfully presented a symbolic sponsorship grant of 700 million VND to Dong Nai province and committed to continuing its support for future social welfare projects in the locality.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son extended congratulations on the 80th anniversary of South Korea’s National Day to the leadership of Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd. and Coach Park Hang-seo.

Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Le Truong Son emphasized that the province welcomes South Korean enterprises to explore investment opportunities in Dong Nai. He affirmed the local authority’s commitment to supporting the operations of South Korean businesses. At the same time, he expressed hope that officers of Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd. and Coach Park Hang-seo would continue to serve as a bridge in fostering strong ties between South Korea, Vietnam, and Dong Nai Province in particular.

On the same day, the Dong Nai Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, in coordination with the Dong Nai Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd., and Coach Park Hang-seo, handed over the “Hyosung Hope House” to the family of Tho Thoai, a member of the Cho Ro ethnic group living in especially difficult circumstances in Xuan Que Commune.

The new house of Tho Thoai’s family was built on the site of their former temporary shelter, with a total area of 100m². The construction cost exceeded 200 million VND, of which Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd. contributed 120 million VND.

As part of the initiative, the officers of Hyosung Dong Nai Co., Ltd., along with Coach Park Hang Seo, handed gifts to 16 disadvantaged families and commemorative presents to children in Xuan Que commune.
