A stirring atmosphere is spreading throughout residential areas, streets, and public places, demonstrating a vibrant spirit of emulation, contributing to creating a spacious, civilized, and clean appearance to welcome the country's grand holiday.

Arousing a sense of responsibility
The work of renovation, environmental sanitation, and landscape beautification has been actively responded to by agencies, units, wards, communes, and people. Leaders of many wards and communes in the province said: They have directed environmental sanitation and order management in the area in accordance with the general direction of the province, creating a green - clean - beautiful appearance, ensuring aesthetic appeal, safety, and a cheerful atmosphere to serve large-scale political and cultural activities during the grand holiday.
In wards such as Tran Bien, Ho Nai, Bien Hoa, Dong Xoai, Binh Phuoc..., many activities are being implemented, such as treating accumulated waste, clearing bushes, pruning trees, and cleaning traffic corridors. In particular, many main roads in the provincial center such as Cach Mang Thang Tam, Vo Thi Sau, April 30, Nguyen Ai Quoc, Ha Huy Giap... are decorated with flags, banners, and propaganda posters, creating many lively highlights. Alleyways and residential areas are also decorated with national flags by residents, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome National Day.
Nguyen Van Hai, Secretary of the Suoi Cam neighborhood Party cell, Dong Xoai ward, said: The Party cell has directed mass organizations and the people to clean houses, cultural house headquarters, parks, public amusement areas, clear and clean up the streets in the area... To date, all streets are lined with red flags, and public places are also spaciously and brightly decorated, creating a spirited atmosphere for people to celebrate the grand holiday with excitement and joy.
Not only in central wards, but also in communes such as Trang Bom, Dau Giay, Gia Kiem, Long Thanh..., people are actively joining forces with local authorities to renovate infrastructure, repair degraded roads, clean public areas, and increase sweeping and waste collection. Public works such as parks, monuments, cultural houses, and People's Committee headquarters are more beautifully decorated.
In Gia Kiem commune, the renovation and beautification of residential areas are combined with the Green Saturday Campaign, attracting a large number of people, youth union members, and students to participate in. La Nguyen Minh Hien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of Gia Kiem Commune People's Committee, said: "We determine that this is not only a short-term task to celebrate the nation's grand holiday, but also part of a strategy to improve the quality of life for the people. Thereby, it arouses a sense of responsibility and environmental awareness among local residents."

This year, the atmosphere for National Day on September 2 is more vibrant because people's houses and shops are decorated with many red flags with yellow stars, creating a more joyful and vibrant atmosphere."

Spreading through practical actions
In addition to infrastructure renovation, localities are also promoting visual propaganda by hanging flags, banners, and slogans on main roads, agency headquarters, schools, and residential areas. Clusters of billboards and electronic displays are also updated with new content, focusing on the message: Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, contributing to the education of patriotic traditions and arousing national pride.
Nguyen Duy Tan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward, said: The ward has launched a campaign before, during, and after the National Day holiday on September 2 in residential areas and agencies, units. Each unit selected key areas and meaningful activities to propagate and mobilize the participation of all people in implementing models and criteria for environmental sanitation and civilized urban lifestyle through specific actions such as: practicing polite communication and behavior; disposing of garbage in designated places; participating in protecting trees; jointly collecting and cleaning up garbage, clearing sewers; not encroaching on the road, sidewalk for business...
"The ward has determined that activities to renovate and beautify the streets are not only to welcome the grand holiday, but also aim to improve the quality of sustainable urban areas. We mobilize the participation of the entire political system and all people to create a long-lasting ripple-effect," said Nguyen Duy Tan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward.
In parallel, functional forces in the province have also increased inspection and handling of violations related to traffic, urban order, encroachment on roads and sidewalks, and illegal advertising. Major roads in the city center and national highways passing through the province are re-arranged for traffic order, ensuring safety and aesthetic appeal for residents and tourists during the holiday.
These days, Dong Nai is creating a vibrant and well-arranged picture, reflecting dynamism and modernity while still being imbued with its rich cultural identity. Efforts of the Party committees and authorities and the positive response of the people have contributed to spreading a beautiful image of a renewed, modern, and developed Dong Nai.
To celebrate the National Day on September 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with localities in the province to organize many cultural and artistic activities such as: special art programs, lion - dragon - unicorn dances. On the evening of September 2, the province organized artistic fireworks displays at 3 locations: Provincial Square Park (Tan Trieu Ward), Dai Phuoc Commune, and Suoi Cam Lake (Binh Phuoc Ward)... This is an opportunity for the community to come together in celebration, contributing to fostering bond, building a positive lifestyle, and reflecting on our roots.
