As part of the Vietnamese Muay team, Dong Nai athlete Nguyen Hoang Son performed excellently, winning 1 silver in the Wai Kru U.23 age group and 1 bronze in the 48kg men's combat category, senior age group, contributing to the overall achievement of the Muay team. This is a valuable achievement for Dong Nai Muay.
Meanwhile, at the end of the tournament, the Vietnamese Muay team achieved impressive results as athletes brought home a total of 14 medals, including: 4 gold medals , 6 silver medals, 4 bronze medals, and ranked 5th overall. This result shows the effort and increasingly affirmed class of Vietnamese Muay in the international arena.
The World Muay Championship took place from May 21 to June 1 in Turkey with the participation of 104 countries and territories.
