Pickleball tournament for public servants, officials, and workers 2025 kicked off

(ĐN) - On the morning of May 8, the Pickleball - Men's and Women's Team Tug-of-War Tournament for public servants, officials, and workers 2025 officially began its pickleball matches at Pickleball Club 39 (Quang Vinh Ward, Bien Hoa City).

The tournament is organized by the Dong Nai Provincial Public Employees' Union to respond to Workers' Month 2025, thereby promoting the movement of training and sports within the Public Employees' Union bloc; creating a healthy playground for officials, union members, and workers to participate in competitions and friendly exchanges, sharing experiences for professional work.

The pickleball event will be held on May 8 and 9, attracting over 120 male and female athletes from agencies and units under the Provincial Public Employees' Union and invited guests to compete. Athletes will compete in a total of 10 events including: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles across 2 age groups: 40 years old and under, and over 40 years old.

The men's and women's team tug-of-war event will kick off on the morning of May 10 at the Dong Nai Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, with 20 teams participating.

The closing ceremony of the tournament will take place after the tug-of-war competition concludes.
