Nearly 350 players participate in 2025 National Team Chess Championship

On May 26, the Vietnam Chess Federation, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, organized the 2025 National Team Chess Championship for the Ninh Kieu Fortuneland Hotel Cup.

The tournament takes place from May 26 to June 2 with the participation of nearly 350 players from 25 provinces, cities, sectors, and Chess Clubs nationwide. The tournament will feature men's and women's team events, including standard chess, rapid chess, blitz chess, Asean chess, and Maruk chess.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will rank each team based on the total individual rankings of the 4 highest-ranked male players and 4 highest-ranked female players from each unit for standard chess, rapid chess, and blitz chess events. For Asean chess and Maruk chess, the ranking will be based on the total ranking of 2 male players and 2 female players.
