(ĐN)- On May 30, the 2025 National Age Group Swimming and Diving Championship concluded in Tien Giang province after completing the final events of the diving discipline.

Athlete Nguyen Le Gia Han brought a gold medal to the Dong Nai swimming team in the women's 200m butterfly event in the 14-15 age group.
At the end of the championship, the Dong Nai swimming and diving team won a total of 2 gold medals (GM), 7 silver medals (SM), and 6 bronze medals (BM) in both disciplines.
Specifically, in the swimming competition held from May 20 to 26, Dong Nai athletes achieved 1 GM, 3 SM, and 3 BM. The only GM in swimming was won by athlete Nguyen Le Gia Han in the women's 200m butterfly event.
Meanwhile, in the diving competition held from May 27 to 30, Dong Nai athletes achieved 1 GM, 4 SM, and 3 BM. Athlete Le Thi Thanh Tuyen won the only GM in the 50m bi-fin event.
In this year's championship, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation affirmed its strength by excellently winning first place overall in both swimming (52 GM) and diving (26 GM).
The 2025 National Age Group Swimming and Diving Championship was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang in coordination with the Vietnam Aquatic Sports Association, taking place from May 20 to 30, with the participation of 34 swimming delegations with 354 athletes (158 female athletes) and 22 diving delegations with 260 athletes (125 female athletes).
