Dong Nai Provincial Civil Servants' Union Sports Festival concluded

(ĐN) - After 3 days of exciting and exciting competition, the 2025 Dong Nai Provincial Civil Servants' Union Sports Festival ended on the morning of May 10 at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center Gymnasium.

The sports festival was organized by the Dong Nai Provincial Civil Servants' Union to respond to the Workers' Month 2025, creating opportunities for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working at units to exchange and improve their health. Thereby, contributing to promoting the movement of the whole people to exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho, the movement of training and sports in the Civil Servants' Union and creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere to continue to carry out political tasks well during the year.

The 2025 Civil Servants' Union Sports Festival of Dong Nai Province took place from May 8 to 10, organizing competitions in two sports: pickleball and men's and women's team tug of war.

The pickleball competition took place on May 8 and 9 at the Pickleball Club 39 (Quang Vinh Ward, Bien Hoa City), gathering more than 120 male and female athletes from agencies and units under the Provincial Civil Servants' Union and invited guests to compete. Athletes competed in a total of 10 events including: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles according to 2 age groups: 40 years old and under and over 40 years old.

The men's and women's team tug of war competed on the morning of May 10 at the Dong Nai Province Sports Training and Competition Center, with 20 teams participating.

At the closing ceremony held after the tug of war competition, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second and third prizes to individuals and groups with excellent performance in the two sports of pickleball and tug of war.

In pickleball, the Tax Department of Region XV won 3 first prizes in pickleball (men's singles, men's doubles aged 40 and under; men's doubles over 40); the Provincial Police won two first prizes (mixed doubles, women's doubles aged 40 and under); Provincial Social Insurance 2 first prizes (women's singles under 40 years old, women's doubles over 40 years old. 3 units with 1 first prize in the 40 years old and above group include: Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center (men's singles); Provincial Cooperative Union (women's singles), Long Thanh District People's Committee (mixed and mixed doubles).
Along with that, the Department of Agriculture and Environment won first prize in men's and women's team tug of war; Tax Department of Region XV won second prize and shared third prize went to the Provincial People's Committee Office, Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts.
