Developing Vietnam's cultural industries in Dong Nai province

(ĐN) - On May 27, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung signed and promulgated Plan No. 190/KH-UBND on the implementation of Directive No. 30/CT-TTg dated August 29, 2024, of the Prime Minister on the development of Vietnam's cultural industries (CI) in Dong Nai province.

The plan aims to concretize the tasks issued by the Prime Minister in Directive No. 30/CT-TTg on the development of Vietnam's CI in Dong Nai province; and at the same time assign tasks to departments, agencies, and localities in the province to implement, ensuring uniformity and effectiveness.

Among the 7 tasks of the plan, propaganda, promotion, and creating a shift in awareness about CI among all levels, sectors, localities, businesses, and society are particularly emphasized. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant units and localities to communicate about the development and promulgation of mechanisms, policies, models, organizations, and individuals to effectively implement the development of CI products, services, and major events related to the development of the CI in the province.

Districts and cities proactively balance and allocate funds and resources to implement tasks and solutions to build CI as a potential and strength of the locality.
