(ĐN)- On April 27 in the Philippines, VTV Binh Dien Long An club lost 1-3 to Zhetysu club of Kazakhstan in the final, winning the runner-up title at the 2025 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship.

In the final match, Zhetysu club, with superior physique, successfully blocked the spikes of main attackers Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, while effectively utilizing powerful high-altitude spikes, creating an impressive scoring run to defeat VTV Binh Dien Long An in the first set with a significant score of 25-14.
Playing with great effort in the second set, along with the excellent performance of captain Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, VTV Binh Dien Long An won 25-20, leveling the score at 1-1. This was also the first set loss for Zhetysu club in this year's tournament.
With high spirits, VTV Binh Dien Long An played explosively and continuously led in the early part of the third set. But the Zhetysu girls showed their composure to gradually level the score before surging ahead to win 25-23.
In the fourth set, while VTV Binh Dien Long An could not maintain their peak form, Zhetysu played explosively, continuously scoring points, creating a significant lead before winning 25-18.
Winning the final match 3-1 against VTV Binh Dien Long An, Zhetysu became the champion of the 2025 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. VTV Binh Dien Long An finished the tournament as runner-up and earned a ticket to the World Women's Club Volleyball Championship.
In addition, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Vi Thi Nhu Quynh received the Best Outside Hitter award, while Nguyen Khanh Dang received the Best Libero award for the second time.
