Over 5,000 runners particiapte in Open Bien Hoa City Half Marathon

(ĐN)- The People’s Committee of Bien Hoa City on March 15 organized the third Open Bien Hoa City Half Marathon 2025 with the theme "Bien Hoa accelerates to take off with aviation”.

Organized at Tran Bien Temple of Literature, the event was sponsored by Bao Viet Dong Nai Company, Grab LLC, Ai Nghia Medical System, Otsuka Nutraceutical Vietnam LLC, and Vexere Trading and Service LLC.

This year's race attracted over 5,000 male and female athletes from localities across the country competing in 4 categories: Kids run (children and families), 5km, 10km, and 21km, with the route running through the main streets of Biên Hòa City.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bien Hoa City Nguyen Xuan Thanh stated that the event was held to meet the needs of those who love marathon in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai province specifically, and nationwide in general; while promoting the scenic beauty of Bien Hoa, Dong Nai to all participating athletes.

The event is also an opportunity for athletes to compete, exchange their talents, and improve their skills and levels in competition.
