(DN)- The 2025 National Air Gun Championship, organized by the Vietnam Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the Vietnam Shooting Federation in coordination with Hai Phong City People's Committee, concluded on the March 26.

At the end of the championship, the Dong Nai shooting team excelled in winning a total of 2 gold medals (HCV), 2 silver medals (HCB), 1 bronze medal (HCĐ), and ranked 7th in the overall rankings.
This is a noteworthy achievement for the Dong Nai shooting team at this year’s championship. Among them, athlete Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu significantly contributed to the 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal. The trio of Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu – Phan Nguyen Ngoc Anh – Pham Tran Thanh Hang won the gold medal in the women's youth 10m air pistol team event.
The army team ranked first overall with 16 gold medals, 12 silver medals, and 12 bronze medals. The Hanoi delegation ranked second with 12 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 11 bronze medals, and in third place was the People's Public Security delegation (8 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals).
The 2025 National Air Gun Championship was held from March 15 to 26 in Hai Phong City, with the participation of 300 members (coaches, athletes) from 11 provinces, cities, and sectors nationwide. Athletes competed for 52 sets of medals in individual and team events across different age groups and championship events: 10m air rifle, 10m air pistol, 10m mobile air rifle, and 10m mixed mobile air rifle.
