The annual event is co-organized by Dong Nai Newspaper, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Department of Education and Training.

In the opening speech, Editor-in-Chief Dao Van Tuan of Dong Nai Newspaper emphasized that the tournament not only serves as a useful playground for children to improve health and showcase their talents and strengths but also provides an opportunity for them to develop life skills, demonstrate determination and courage, maintain composure and confidence, as well as cultivate team spirit and discipline. Pursuing these educational objectives has provided the organizers with additional motivation and joy in continuing to host the tournament for local children.

This year’s tournament, mainly sponsored by Thaco Group, ABC Edu, Viet My English Center (VMG) and Nestle, attracted the participation of 11 teams from districts of Cam My, Thong Nhat, Vinh Cuu, Long Thanh, Tan Phu, Xuan Loc, Trang Bom, Dinh Quan, Nhon Trach and cities of Long Khanh and Bien Hoa.
The teams, divided into two groups, will play in a round-robin league in the first round. The top two teams of each group will compete in the semi-final round, with the winners going into the final match.
The final match will take place on August 4.
