(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s open "Don ca tai tu and Bong roi" festival has recently wrapped up, with 60 prizes awarded to outstanding items.

Among them, 33 were granted to outstanding items in “Don ca tai tu” event, 20 in “Bong roi” event, along with 7 other prizes. Accordingly, hosts Dong Nai won seven prizes.
The festival attracted artisans and performers from eight arts troupes from Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, An Giang, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Long An, Ben Tre and HCM city.
“Don ca tai tu” is amateur singing in southern Vietnam while "Bong roi" is a dance and singing art form performed at mother goddess worship rituals in southern Viet Nam.
