(ĐN)- Dong Nai Province’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Department on February 2 hosted an open "Don ca tai tu and Bong roi" festival.

The festival attracted artisans and performers from eight arts troupes from Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, An Giang, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Long An, Ben Tre and HCM city.
During the festival, the arts troupes performed many items of "Don ca tai tu' and 'Bong roi". The organizers will award prizes to outstanding items at the end of the festival on February 3.
“Don ca tai tu” is amateur singing in southern Vietnam while "Bong roi" is a dance and singing art form performed at mother goddess worship rituals in southern Viet Nam.
