At the end of the event, hosts Dong Nai won nine gold, seven silver and six bronze medals to top the overall medal rankings. They were followed by teams from Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
Jointly organized by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the provincial Vovinam Federation, the event attracted the participation of 130 martial artists from five provinces in the region, competing for 30 sets of medals.
