Over 190 archers from 16 provinces, cities and industries throughout the country are taking part in the 2022 National Excellence Archer Tournament, which opened on March 1 at the Sports Centre of the central province of Thua Thien – Hue.
Over 190 archers from 16 provinces, cities and industries throughout the country are taking part in the 2022 National Excellence Archer Tournament, which opened on March 1 at the Sports Centre of the central province of Thua Thien – Hue.

The tournament is being organised by the General Department of Sports and Physical Education under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports of Thua Thien - Hue province from March 1 to March 6.
Athletes are competeing for 36 sets of medals in single and team events for both men and women, with two categories: the one-stringed bow and three-stringed bow.
In order to ensure the safety of all athletes, coaches and officials serving the tournament, the organising board is strictly implementing regulations on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic.
The tournament is also considered a place to select excellent athletes for the national team to compete at the 31st SEA Games, to be held in Vietnam in May 2022.
