The gold medal was won by female double Vu Thi Thanh-Tran Phuong Nga in Ju No Kata category. Military team place first at the event, with three golds, five silvers and five bronzes. They were followed by teams from Dong Thap and Bac Lieu.
Lasting between March 24 and 27, the event attracted nearly 300 martial artists and coaches from 25 provinces and cities nationwide, competing for 20 sets of medals in 20 weight categories ranging from 45kg to 100 kg.
