At the end of the event, martial artists of Dong Nai province scored five bronze medals in low-kick combat categories.
The event attracted the participation of nearly 300 athletes from 29 provinces and cities nationwide, competing for medals in 32 weight categories for both men and women.
Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate, muay Thai, Kun Khmer and boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.
