(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s team on Sunday won their first gold medal at the 2020 National Youth Sepak Takraw Championships opens at the provincial Sports Training and Competition Center between July 10.

The gold medal was won by the hosts in men’s four-member category aged under 16 after defeating their rivals from Ha Noi 2-0 in the final match.
The same day, athletes from Dong Nai also scored a bronze medal in men’s four-member category aged from 17 to 20 after being defeated by team from Vinh Long province in the semi-final match.
The championships is expected to draw the participation of athletes from 12 teams from across the country, competing for medals in the men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles and team categories in two age groups of under 16 and from 17 to 20.
